It is a seminal book about job-hunting and finding the right career for you. Great resources to have at your fingertips for your clients. Business Career Executive Personal Youth Work the Pond by Darcy Rezac. This simple and fun read was a godsend when I first arrived in Canada, knowing no-one and starting a new business. It removes common misconceptions about networking and shows you how to make it easy using the metaphor of a 'pond'. Excellent tips and resources to help anyone become a good 'networker'. Business Career Executive Personal Blink by Malcolm Gladwell. A book that makes you think about how people make decisions - how you think. You make decisions faster and more intuitively than you realise, and then justify it afterwards...Also by the same author: The Tipping Point and Outliers Business General Interest When the Body Says No: The Cost of Hidden Stress by Dr Gabor Mate. This book is quite detailed and left-brained in places, but will get your clients thinking about the cost of stress on their emotional AND physical well being.
