This quote comes from Steve's book: Unapologetically You: Reflections on Life and the Human Experience

Another quote I love from this book is: "We all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things in our past. But you are not your mistakes, you are not your struggles, and you are here NOW with the power to shape your day and your future."

Why I chose this quote for 2022

It's been another tough year. COVID (and the conflict around vaccination) continues to exist. Our minds now have the war in the Ukraine to think about as well as rising interest rates and inflation, increasing political instability around the world and more extreme weather events (to name a few).

Despite all the scary things going on in the world, we must remember to be kind and lead the way by being authentically ourselves. We must continue to go after our dreams and be thankful for what we have. And of course its important to find ways to enjoy life and the present moment.

Here's a great way to use this quote for inspirational journaling over the holidays

Simply answer each line of the quote in your journal:

    • How can I live my truth more fully?
    • How could I express my love in the world more?
    • How will I share my enthusiasm with others?
    • What actions will I take towards my dreams?
    • Where could I walk my talk more?
    • When/how/where will I dance and sing?
  • Make a list of your blessings: How can you embrace these?
  • How will I make today worth remembering?

    How can I remove the bear from the quote? A frozen tundra with a bear is not inspiring to me, lol…

      Sorry you don't like the bear lol

      I'm sorry that this is a 'flat' image so you won't be able to take it out, but you could create your own image with the quote:
