Meet Bianca:

QUESTION 1: What one book should every coach read - and why?

I'm sure you're expecting some amazing book with really deep meaning - I have those too. The book I think EVERY single coach should read is "Get Sh*t Done", edited by Lauris Liberts and Startup Vitamins. My reasoning? The book is split into 8 sections: Get Sh*t Done; Think; Plan; Build; Lead; Sell; Persevere; Evolve. Each section has quotes by successful businesses/entrepreneurs and those days when it is a hard slog, when you're trying to engage people and operate a successful business while facilitating change... these gems are there for you! If you buy one book this year, get this one!

QUESTION 2: Which website do you visit the most?

At the moment it's a recipe blog website called "Pick up Limes" - because any good coach needs to have balance in their life; and fuelling my body correctly as well as my mind is so important. I just really like their quick, easy and tasty recipes. I know this may not seem very coach like, but I operate a holistic business and to continue to do all the amazing things that I do I need my body energised.

QUESTION 3: Whom do you admire most?

Actually, I would say at the moment that the person I admire most is my partner, Chris.

He inspires me daily with his ability to be fully present and he reminds me if my life balance is tilting one way (super important as I can be very focused on work at times). He encourages me to embrace each opportunity as it arises and celebrates my determination, commitment and vision of changing the community one person at a time. He also encourages me to prioritise self-care and embraces me in all my quirky uniqueness.

Having a partner, friend or family member supporting, believing in and celebrating you every step of the way is a truly beautiful gift to have.

QUESTION 4: What's your vision for your life? Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Actually, I think my life is pretty awesome and truly love where I am right now!

In 5 years? I see myself not only continuing to travel the world; but expanding that travel further to 3-4 paid and sold out overseas trips per year, offering my unique brand of integrative wellbeing.

I also see my business developing further, expanding topics and offering a selection of high quality online training programs that provide pivotal opportunities for facilitating individual change on a global level.

The other thing that is really important to me is having a lot of business functions automated so that I can achieve a better balance of self-care, time with my partner and our children.

QUESTION 5: What is your "big project" at the moment?

Actually, my big project(s) at the moment are pretty much in line with where I see myself in 5 years! I'm most focused on getting the word out there about my International Wellbeing Retreat in Indonesia 2- 8 June 2020. It's going to be amazing and I my aim is for individuals to honour themselves by committing to attend, putting self-care, reflection and exploration of self a priority. If you are jumping up and down, check out the event on my business Facebook page.

QUESTION 6: What has been your most powerful moment in coaching so far?

That moment when people realise that regardless of the situation, they have choice. It's the a-ha moment of awareness, then you see this fire inside of them and they are bursting with realisations where they have self-sabotaged or made a choice, no matter how small. It's a beautiful thing to facilitate.

QUESTION 7: What are your Top 3 favourite coaching tools and/or resources?

Oh, I LOVE the Coaching Tools Company resources!

  • I'd have to say that the "Renew you, Love your Life!" is an absolute gem of a program and is almost my go to either as a whole program or broken up into sections. I even use some of the resources of this program in my Counselling service too!
  • Another resource that I particularly like is the Social Media Coaching Tools package. They make it quick and easy to post some interesting and thought provoking, beautiful content. That saves me so much time.
  • I also like The Coaching Tools Company blog as an information resource.

QUESTION 8: What do you love most about being a coach?

I love having the ability, skills, creativity and access to resources that support the facilitation of individual growth and empowerment. I also love and am honoured to be part of each person's individual journey of discovery - who wouldn't want to be a coach!!!!

QUESTION 9: Tell us a secret about you...

I compete internationally as a horse archer – yep, galloping along and shooting arrows at targets!

QUESTION 10: If you could change one thing in our world, what would it be? And how would you go about it?

Oh, what a huge question! I think the most burning change that I would like to see (and also hope to facilitate through my business) is to encourage every single person in the world to embrace and fully step into their own power while at the same time as balancing this with a deep connection, respect and caring for our environment and the uniqueness of our world.
