QUESTION 1. What one book should every coach read - and why?

I recommend Co-Active Coaching by Kimsey-House et al. because it provides a foundational framework for transformative coaching.

It emphasizes the coach-client relationship as a dynamic and co-active alliance, which empowers clients to unlock their potential and deepen their learning. This approach is vital for any coach aiming to facilitate meaningful change in their clients' personal and professional lives.

QUESTION 2. Which website do you visit the most?

I frequently visit the Harvard Business Review (HBR) website. It's a treasure trove of insights on leadership, psychology, and management practices. HBR's articles not only provide practical strategies that are immediately applicable but also push me to think critically about evolving trends in coaching and leadership.

QUESTION 3. Whom do you admire most and why?

I admire Jon Gordon for his exceptional ability to inspire and energize people through his focus on positive leadership.

His work, especially his emphasis on the importance of positive energy and vision in leadership roles, resonates deeply with my coaching philosophy. Gordon's practical strategies for cultivating positivity and teamwork are not only influential but also instrumental in developing effective and inspiring leaders.

QUESTION 4. What's your vision for your life? Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Over the next five years, I envision myself as a transformative figure in both leadership and life coaching, deeply impacting the corporate and personal realms.

My goal is to guide leaders not only to excel in their careers but also to achieve personal fulfillment, making every day resonate with purpose and passion.

By integrating life coaching principles, I plan to help individuals bridge the gap between professional success and personal well-being, turning their daily routines into paths of meaningful achievement and holistic growth.

QUESTION 5. What is your "big project" at the moment? OR What are your Top 3 Goals at the moment?

My current "big project" is focused on three primary goals:

  1. Expanding Coaching Programs: Enhance and broaden our range of coaching services, including leadership and life coaching, to address the evolving needs of both individuals and organizations.
  2. Developing Digital Resources: Create a comprehensive digital platform that provides accessible, impactful coaching tools and resources, facilitating ongoing growth and learning for our clients remotely.
  3. Community Engagement: Strengthen community involvement and partnerships to foster a wider impact, emphasizing the importance of holistic leadership and personal development in achieving societal progress.

QUESTION 6. What has been your favourite coaching moment so far?

My favorite coaching moment so far was witnessing a client achieve a breakthrough in a leadership retreat.

After a series of sessions focused on developing emotional intelligence and communication skills, the client delivered a speech to their team that not only inspired confidence but also visibly transformed their leadership style.

This moment was profoundly rewarding because it encapsulated everything we had worked towards: confidence, clarity, and genuine leadership growth. It was a clear testament to the power of dedicated coaching and the deep personal and professional impact it can have.

QUESTION 7. What are your Top 3 favourite coaching tools and/or resources?

  1. www.thecoachingtoolscompany.com
  2. www.positivepsychology.com
  3. www.mindtools.com

QUESTION 8. What do you love most about being a coach?

What I love most about coaching is the profound opportunity to connect with and positively impact the lives of others.

At the heart of every coaching session is a deep, passionate commitment to fostering personal growth and success. This isn't just about transferring knowledge; it's about forming a bond, nurturing potential, and believing in people even more than they believe in themselves.

Witnessing the transformative power of these relationships, where genuine care and support spark significant change, is truly the most rewarding aspect of my work.

QUESTION 9. Tell us a secret about you...

A fun secret about me is that I'm a big fan of Call of Duty! I often play on Xbox with my wife, which not only fuels my competitive side but also serves as a great way to unwind and connect over a shared hobby. It's a surprising contrast to my professional role, but it’s all about balance!

QUESTION 10. If you could change one thing in our world, what would it be? And how would you go about it?

If I could change one thing in our world, it would be to infuse more positivity into everyday interactions and mindsets.

To achieve this, I would focus on integrating positivity training into educational systems and corporate environments. By developing curricula and workshops that emphasize positive thinking, resilience, and constructive communication, we can equip individuals from a young age to foster a more optimistic outlook and handle life's challenges with a positive attitude.

This approach would gradually transform societal norms towards more positive interactions and mindsets.
