Author Bio

Dr. Evelyn Fendler-Lee is a coach, teacher, facilitator, and developer working at the intersection of inner process, meaning-making, and practical application. She supports people at transition points in their careers, identities, and creative projects, helping them translate implicit knowing into clear direction, decisions, and meaningful creation.

She began her professional career in research and industry. With a Ph.D. in the natural sciences, she spent twenty years as a materials scientist in research, project management, and leadership roles.

Since becoming self-employed in 2009, Evelyn has worked with individuals, teams, and organizations across the technology, public services, NGOs, and education sectors. She has designed and facilitated workshops and training on self-management, leadership, team development, and knowledge transfer.

Her work is grounded in the person-centered and experiential approaches of Focusing and Thinking at the Edge (TAE). Since 2013, she has taught TAE internationally and developed applications of the method for innovation, leadership, and creative team processes.

After moving to the United States in 2018, she focused on developing accessible experiential methodologies and translating TAE’s philosophical foundations into practical tools and learning formats. She founded Thetaland® Academy & Consultancy and co-developed Thetaland® – The Game of Inquiry, a practical tool that makes deep-thinking processes accessible to individuals and teams.

Through online courses, workshops, and certification programs, she teaches people how to listen, think and work from their embodied experience and tacit knowing, enabling them to develop original ideas, navigate transitions, and bring meaningful projects into form.
