59 Beautiful Best Gratitude Quotes

We're sharing some of the most inspiring and best gratitude quotes for you to enjoy and share on social media and more. With 59 quotes in total (it's a popular topic!) grouped into helpful topics, we also chose 5 to make shareable graphics from!

Personally, I have a complicated relationship with gratitude. I was told as a child that I was "selfish and ungrateful", so the word "grateful" is a little 'charged' for me—and brings back painful memories. Personally I prefer to consider, "What am I thankful for?" or "What do I appreciate in my life"—although I am slowly re-programming my brain...

However, I believe being thankful for what we already have is a deep spiritual practice—when done with kindness and when we also acknowledge the truth of what might not be going right in our lives. We shouldn't misuse gratitude to beat ourselves up or 'guilt' ourselves into feeling better!

Anyway. I love quotes, and hope you love the gratitude quotes and beautiful gratitude quote graphics too!

Thanks for a good selection of quotes. Opened my mind and heart to try a few different ways of expressing myself. For years I've done a mental list of 5 items I'm grateful for that day. Sometimes they are simple and that's as important to acknowledge as well as the 'big' things.
Thanks for all you share with us. It is appreciated and often put into practice!

Thank you for the quotations that remind me of a time in my life when I was in ‘flow’ and acutely aware of the spiritual in my life. I am not there now. Here’s hoping I can return.
