1. What ARE Coaching Tools?

The purpose of these coaching tools is to help your clients explore themselves - either as homework in their own time, in session or perhaps in a seminar with you.

They are a mix of familiar exercises eg. The Wheel of Life, SWOT and The Urgent/Important Matrix and innovated exercises like "Eat Your Elephant" or our premium free tool with newsletter sign-up called "Troll Travels".

Through the tools the client is given space to develop their own insights which they then discuss and delve deeper into with you. What new insights have they gained? What does that mean for them? What are they going to do about it?

The tools look great and are ready to go! As long as you follow the licensing terms, you simply add your business name and logo if you have one (more graphics and colour on the forms and tools makes them more visually appealing) and start using them with your clients right away!

• All the tools have a simple, common look to them, are colourful, well laid out with graphics.
• Just add your logo and the tools are ready to go just as they are!
• If anything doesn’t resonate with you, you can amend these tools yourself – add to them or change the wording to fit your working style.
• The tools are wonderful as homework or can be an activity to do in session.
• All the tools are designed to have a coach or therapist add value by reviewing and discussing the client output – delving for deeper learnings and actions to move forwards with.

3. So, Who Uses the Coaching Tools?

The Coaching Tools can be used by any therapist and any type of coach whether Executive, Career, Personal, Business, Spiritual or another niche.

Each tool has a description that explains what it is designed for/to do. You decide which are relevant to the clients you serve - obviously different tools will work in different situations. You simply choose the tools that work for you.

• Coaches just starting out will find these tools give them focus and confidence in-session.
• Established coaches will enjoy adding some pizzazz and fresh activities to their practice.
• Therapists of all kinds may enjoy adding some coaching-style tools to their practice.

4. What Type Of Clients Can I Use These Tools With?

Well, the easiest way to answer this is to let you know the type of clients that I’ve successfully used these tools with.

They are Project Managers, Lawyers, Accountants, Engineers, Computer programmers, Teachers, HR Specialists, Marketing and Sales Professionals, Writers and Entrepreneurs or Small Business Owners. And the occasional Dance teacher, Roads Foreman, Location Scout and Mom.

A large portion – but not all – of my clients have been women. Unexpectedly, I found the men enjoyed the tools just as much – if not more – than the women. I think It made potentially 'airy-fairy' conversations more real and tangible somehow.

5. What makes these Coaching Tools Unique?

What builds a client practice is not the tools but the coach or therapist themselves - you - and the relationship you build with your clients. The aim of the tools is to help you, the coach or therapist, facilitate change through new ways of client self-exploration!

• Each tool has been hand-crafted to look good, be professional AND fun (we learn more when we have fun). A lot of thought has gone into the wording, graphics, layout and structure of these tools. I have used my understanding of NLP (neuro-linguistic-programming) and my own coaching and therapy experiences to create tools that are both visually and intellectually appealing.
• Unlike other coaching ‘tools’ that I have researched - these tools help the client delve deeply. With a few fun exceptions, these tools are much more than simple assessments or quizzes – they are specifically designed to get the client to (re)think about who they are, connect with what they really want from their career or life and to help them take action to move forwards.
• And last but probably most important, these tools are in Microsoft Word format so - providing you follow the Licensing Terms - you can brand these for yourself for use with your clients both one-on-one and in seminars and workshops. Which means once you buy them you get HUGE value by using them over and again.

6. Why are the Coaching Tools such good value?

Well, one reason is that I really enjoy researching, thinking up and creating these tools. So, it’s fun for me.

I also believe that we live in a world where coaching and therapy are more important than ever to help people think for themselves, learn, grow and be truly happy (or perhaps simply content). Coaching is a growth industry!

So, I want buying these tools to be a no-brainer - the more people that buy them the more people that will benefit from them!

The tools really are amazing value, you can do the math for yourself:

• The tools are mostly $20 or less, professional, have a consistent look and feel and have been extensively road-tested!
• Uniquely - you can brand them yourself and they’re ready to go to work for you!
• Let’s say you’re worth $100 an hour. Could you create one of these tools in less than 12 minutes?
• Could your VA or personal assistant create one of these tools in 30 minutes or less (including your time and input in giving direction?)

And obviously the more coaching tools I sell, the better it is for me! I get to continue provoking change in my own way - through writing, creating tools and my blogs – from my island paradise on Salt Spring Island. I am after all just like you, trying to walk my talk - and live my dream life.

7. What format do the Coaching Tools come in?

The Coaching Tools are supplied in Microsoft Word format - so that everyone can easily customise and add their company logo etc.

I have also checked that each tool works both on the Letter and the A4 paper size.

8. The formatting seems a bit wonky across the page?

If you are outside of North America and the line formatting is untidy you may need to manually change the paper-size to A4.

This should happen automatically on your PC but if not:

Go to "Page Set-up", click the "Paper" tab and under "Paper Size" change to "A4". Check that it says "Apply to: Whole document" and not just selected sections.

9. How can I pay?

We use Paypal - a secure, online payment system used by millions of people worldwide.

Paypal takes Credit and Debit cards. So, if you DON'T have a Paypal account - you can simply pay using your Visa, Mastercard or Amex.

If you do have a Paypal account - you will be able to pay directly from your bank or paypal account if you wish.

11. How do I know my payment is secure?

We use a tried and tested professional shopping-cart that specifically caters to e-products. When you are ready to checkout (pay) the shopping cart will take you directly to Paypal.

Paypal is an internationally recognized online and secure payment service that takes Credit cards - or if you have an account with them - you can pay directly from your bank account.

Only Paypal ever sees your payment information. Visit the Paypal website if you would like more information.

12. How do I get my coaching tools once I've paid?

We currently use E-junkie, a tried and tested professional shopping-cart that specifically caters to e-products.

• Once you have paid, E-Junkie will immediately provide you with a link to download (open or save) your products.
• IN ADDITION, you will also be emailed a link to download your products which is active for up to 5 attempts.
